The Village of Morrice is located in Shiawassee Country within the
State of Michigan. We are conveniently located 30 miles east of
Lansing and 30 miles west of Flint. The Village of Morrice is governed by its village council which is comprised of seven voting members. Six trustees and 1 president. The council is assisted by the village clerk, deputy village clerk, village treasurer and the village building inspector. The village is also a part of Perry Township. According to the United States census of 2000, Morrice had a population of 882. We had 316 households and 232 families residing within the village.
